Sens Nation Podcast: Senators Injury Concerns And Final Roster Decisions

The latest episode of the Sens Nation Podcast examines the Ottawa Senators and their recent roster trimming following a wave of cuts on Sunday. Hosts reviewed physical health issues impacting Artem Zub, Jake Sanderson, and Andre Burakovsky, which are forcing the organization to retain extra roster depth.

The discussion also addressed goaltending shifts, including Leevi Meriläinen being claimed off waivers by the Vancouver Canucks and the subsequent addition of Jonas Johansson from the Tampa Bay Lightning, leading to speculation about an all-Swedish goalie depth chart.

Additional topics included evaluating the team's preseason performance, the league's renewed focus on jersey-tucking regulations, new leadership appointments for the San Jose Sharks and Boston Bruins, and the ongoing uncertainty regarding who will be named the next captain of the Senators. Steve Warne and Gregg Kennedy hosted the broadcast.
