Schade double earns Brentford point as Bournemouth await first PL win

Kevin Schade produced a crucial brace to secure a 2-2 result for Brentford away at Bournemouth. The German forward opened the scoring with a 34th-minute header, only for Justin Kluivert to level matters shortly before the interval following good build-up play involving Rayan and Evanilson.

Marcus Tavernier notched his third goal of the campaign early in the second period to hand Bournemouth the advantage, but their lead vanished just three minutes later when Dorde Petrovic's errant distribution allowed Schade to pounce and tally his second.

The outcome leaves Bournemouth head coach Marco Rose still searching for his maiden Premier League victory, with his team having taken the lead in all four top-flight outings this term without converting any into three points. That extends a troubling record for the Cherries, who lead the competition in points squandered from ahead since the beginning of last season.
