Roma ‘have faith in Vasquez’ against Manchester United amid new problems

Roma faces a significant roster challenge ahead of their match at Old Trafford, as starting goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini has been ruled out due to back pain sustained during final preparations. With Mile Svilar also sidelined, the club has turned to third-choice keeper Devis Vasquez to start the fixture.

Sporting director Tony D’Amico expressed confidence in Vasquez while stepping in for manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who was unavailable for media duties following the team's delayed arrival in Manchester. The squad is further hampered by the absences of Paulo Dybala, Manu Koné, and Lorenzo Pellegrini, though they enter the contest having lost only once in all competitions this season.
