Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has adopted a straightforward perspective after recently being stripped of the Test vice-captaincy and falling out of regular contention for one-day internationals. Currently in Srinagar to represent the Rest of India in the Irani Cup, his first red-ball appearance since last month's tour of Sri Lanka, the player emphasized that he prefers to concentrate entirely on whatever challenge stands immediately before him.
Pant noted that his grounded outlook developed significantly during his eighteen-month rehabilitation following a severe vehicle accident in late 2022, teaching him the value of mental resilience and avoiding excessive worry regarding future selections or career fluctuations.
