Rishabh Pant is preparing for a busy stretch of red-ball fixtures that begins with leading the Rest of India in the Irani Cup starting October 1 in Srinagar. Following that fixture, the wicketkeeper-batter is expected to feature for Delhi during their opening match of the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy campaign against Bengal in Kalyani.
This upcoming domestic action comes as the national team prepares for a two-Test series against New Zealand beginning November 19 in Wellington, followed by a five-Test home series against Australia. Pant has been a key figure in India's Test lineup since making his debut in 2018, accumulating more runs in the format than any compatriot alongside twenty-one scores of fifty or higher.
