Real Madrid on verge of signing Manchester United wonderkid as Barcelona drop out of race

Real Madrid are reportedly on the brink of securing a transfer for 16-year-old English forward JJ Gabriel, who has been training in the Spanish capital while awaiting the finalization of his move from Manchester United. The teenager, widely regarded as a top-tier prospect, has attracted interest from several major European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, but Barcelona have reportedly withdrawn from the competition after declining to engage in a costly bidding war.

Although the agreement is not yet official, with the earliest possible registration window set for January 2027, Madrid have assessed the regulatory implications of signing such a young player and are prioritizing his long-term potential over immediate impact. Gabriel has demonstrated significant talent at the youth level, notably scoring a hat-trick in his UEFA Youth League debut, which has contributed to his reputation as a versatile and creative attacker.
