Tamil Nadu dominated the third day of their Ranji Trophy Elite Group D match against Chandigarh, forcing the hosts to follow on after bowling them out for 94 in their first innings. Sonu Yadav spearheaded the morning attack, taking multiple wickets to dismantle the Chandigarh lineup quickly.
Although Chandigarh showed improved resistance in their second attempt with Arjun Azad and Manan Vohra both hitting half-centuries, a collapse triggered by S. Ajith Ram left them at 189 for seven at the close of play.
They remain 288 runs behind and face an imminent innings defeat.
