Raiders TE Brock Bowers considered 'day-to-day' after undergoing knee surgery, missing Week 1

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers was sidelined for the team's regular-season kickoff against the Miami Dolphins following a Tuesday surgical procedure to trim his meniscus. The All-Pro pass-catcher was absent from every practice session leading up to the matchup and is currently viewed as day-to-day, leaving his availability beyond the opening week up in the air.

Despite Bowers being unavailable, Las Vegas secured a 27-13 victory over Miami under head coach Klint Kubiak. The contest saw newly extended tight end Michael Mayer step up, while quarterback Kirk Cousins delivered three scoring passes, including his milestone 300th career touchdown to running back Ashton Jeanty, although the offense was held scoreless throughout the final quarter.
