Following a 35-21 defeat at home to the Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak has reaffirmed his commitment to Kirk Cousins as the starting quarterback. Despite the team falling to a 3-4 record after four consecutive losses, Kubiak insists there is no internal debate regarding the position, citing Cousins' high level of play and strong statistical performance this season.
While rookie Fernando Mendoza remains on the bench for now, Kubiak acknowledged that the first-round draft pick will see action at some point this year. For the immediate future, however, the organization is prioritizing a win-now approach as they prepare for their upcoming road matchup against the New York Jets.
