Qatar pulls out of hosting 2028 Nations Championship owing to Middle East crisis

Uncertainty stemming from ongoing regional conflict has forced organizers to scrap plans for the 2028 Nations Championship matches to take place in the Middle East. At the same time, the national carrier associated with the region has terminated its planned four-edition title sponsorship agreement following months of discussions.

Organizers are now eyeing Europe for the concluding series, with the prominent arena in Paris currently positioned as the leading choice to host the final tournament rounds.
