Clark Laidlaw, son of Roy and cousin of Greig, has built a highly successful coaching career in New Zealand over the past 18 years. After moving abroad at age 30, he guided the Hurricanes to a dominant Super Rugby championship in 2026, building on a decorated background in sevens rugby that includes multiple global tournament medals.
Ahead of a weekend fixture where the All Blacks face Scotland at Murrayfield, Laidlaw joins fellow expatriates Mike Blair, Euan Mackintosh, and Adam Hay as part of the broader Scottish contingent making waves in New Zealand rugby.
