Projecting AP Top 10 heading into Week 6 of college football season

As the college football season approaches its sixth week, the Associated Press rankings are bracing for major shifts. Texas remains idle at the top spot while preparing for an upcoming battle against Oklahoma, while conference scheduling chaos looms elsewhere.

Missouri delivered a decisive defeat to Florida just a week after the Gators climbed the standings with a victory over Ole Miss. Meanwhile, an upcoming clash between undefeated Alabama and undefeated Georgia presents a significant hurdle for the SEC.

The projected top ten order positions Texas first, followed by Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Alabama, Indiana, Ole Miss, BYU, and Texas Tech rounding out the list.
