Deion Sanders, Colorado lose third in a row

Colorado suffered its third straight defeat after dropping a 29-7 decision at home against tenth-ranked Texas Tech. Despite grabbing an early four-point edge by halftime following an initial touchdown drive, the Buffaloes collapsed after the break by committing four consecutive turnovers and failing to put up any more points.

Isaac Wilson got the nod under center ahead of Julian Lewis, finishing the evening with three intercepted passes. With upcoming matchups against thirteenth-ranked Utah and nineteenth-ranked Oklahoma State on the horizon, questions are beginning to surface regarding whether the head coach will remain in his position through the 2027 campaign.
