Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has received medical clearance to participate in the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand, which begins on November 19. The pacer had been sidelined by a hamstring issue that prevented him from competing in the current five-match ODI series.
To regain his match fitness, he is slated to participate in the third unofficial four-day match between the India A and New Zealand A squads scheduled for November 7 through 10. His last competitive appearance occurred on September 30 during an ODI against the West Indies, where he was forced to exit the game early.
The Test series is set to conclude with matches in Wellington and Christchurch.
