Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has received clearance from the medical staff at the Bengaluru facility after successfully finishing simulation assessments on November 1 and 2. The right-arm pacer had previously suffered a hamstring issue while playing against West Indies in Guwahati on September 30.
Having missed the opening portion of the trip, he is now set to depart for New Zealand to link up with the India A group.
Krishna will skip the upcoming five-match one-day series starting November 4 to concentrate on building his match fitness. He is slated to participate in the final four-day contest against New Zealand A beginning on November 7, helping him prepare for the subsequent two-match Test series under the World Test Championship.
