Player Grades: Cavs vs Nets – Jarrett Allen plays the unsung hero

Jarrett Allen anchored the Cleveland Cavaliers' narrow home victory against the Brooklyn Nets with a highly efficient 21-point performance. Coach Kenny Atkinson praised the center's defensive impact at the rim, while Evan Mobley also contributed significantly with 20 points and a double-double despite some late-game struggles.

Donovan Mitchell added 22 points in a balanced effort, though the team faced pressure throughout the contest. Other notable contributions included 15 points from Jaylon Tyson off the bench and 12 points from James Harden, who struggled with his shooting rhythm.

Peyton Watson and Mario Hezonja also saw action as the Cavaliers navigated a challenging opening night.
