USC football fell completely flat and proved the doubters right

The No. 16 ranked USC Trojans suffered a 24-7 defeat on the road against the unranked Wisconsin Badgers. Quarterback Jayden Maiava struggled significantly, throwing two interceptions in the opening quarter and being sacked five times throughout the game.

Head coach Lincoln Riley expressed confidence that his team can still compete with any opponent despite the loss, which damaged their College Football Playoff hopes. The defeat occurred in Madison, where the Trojans' offense collapsed.
