Atlanta forward Angel Reese and guard Rhyne Howard were both selected for the 2026 All‑WNBA Second Team, marking the first time two Dream teammates have earned All‑WNBA honors in the same season. The duo also made the league’s All‑Defensive First Team, becoming only the seventh pair of teammates to achieve both distinctions in a single year, as Atlanta leads the WNBA Finals series 2‑1 over the Golden State Valkyries.
Reese captured the Defensive Player of the Year award and set multiple franchise and league records, including 500 rebounds in her debut season, 32 double‑doubles, and a career‑high 31 points in a game against Phoenix. Howard broke the single‑season three‑point record with 129 threes, became the youngest to reach 500 career threes, and posted a league‑leading 2.3 steals per game while surpassing 3,000 career points.
