The New England Patriots have placed wide receiver Mack Hollins on injured reserve, sidelining him for at least the next four games. Hollins suffered a calf injury during the second half of last Sunday’s victory over the Buffalo Bills, ruling him out of this weekend’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
With Hollins out, the Patriots will rely on a thin wideout corps, including Romeo Doubs, Efton Chism, Pop Douglas, and Kyle Williams, to fill the void on the 53-man roster.
The team also made additional roster adjustments, including activating special teamer Brenden Schooler and signing cornerback Kindle Vildor off the practice squad. Meanwhile, fullback Reggie Gilliam was placed on injured reserve due to ankle and knee issues, while linebacker K.J.
Britt and safety Elliott Davison were elevated from the practice squad. The Patriots may soon welcome back A.J.
Brown, who could return as early as Week 6 after missing four games with an ankle injury.
