Pakistan Champions kicked out of WCL 2026 after PCB denies NOCs

The Pakistan Champions squad has officially been removed from the upcoming World Championship of Legends season after cricket authorities in Pakistan declined to grant the necessary travel permits for the roster. Several members of the squad had already arrived in the United Arab Emirates, while prominent figures like the team captain were absent from pre-tournament promotional events.

The tournament organizers were forced to alter the schedule after the opening fixture against Bangladesh was postponed due to unspecified technical factors. The refusal to clear the players follows previous tournament controversies involving matches against India, ultimately leaving the franchise without a path to compete in the October competition.
