F1 Bahrain GP in Malaysia start delayed as thunderstorms hit Sepang

Formula 1 officials postponed the beginning of the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia after severe weather struck the venue. Teams were lining up on the starting grid for pre-race routines when a light mist escalated into a severe tropical storm.

Lightning and heavy precipitation inundated the track located near Kuala Lumpur, forcing race control to halt the proceedings.
