Packers Snap Counts, Week 1: Kaleb Johnson absent on offense

The Green Bay Packers experienced a difficult start to their 2026 campaign, dropping their opening contest against the Minnesota Vikings by a final score of 39-22. Despite holding an edge during the second half, Green Bay completely collapsed down the stretch, surrendering twenty-nine unanswered points to end the divisional battle.

Beyond the scoreboard defeat, running back Kaleb Johnson failed to log any offensive snaps, while protection for quarterback Jordan Love emerged as a glaring concern.

Roster absences significantly impacted the Packers, who entered the matchup missing key stars as Micah Parsons remained sidelined on the reserve/PUP list due to an ACL tear and Josh Jacobs stayed on the Commissioner's Exempt List. The offensive front also dealt with injuries, leading to guard Aaron Banks being ruled inactive alongside linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper, while lineman Zach Bako-Bewele was likewise monitored on the pre-game injury list.
