Thirteen-year-old Ornella Beltramino made headlines at the Qatar tournament by becoming the youngest player ever to feature in an adult Padel World Championship. Playing for the United States, the young athlete partnered with Marta Morga to defeat Portugal 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, securing a historic win for her national squad.

In a later match, Beltramino teamed up with Carla Rodríguez to dominate Paraguay with a 6-1, 6-2 victory, though the team ultimately missed out on qualification for the quarter-finals.
