Oregon State wide receiver Jesse LeGree became the first player to reach 1,000 receiving yards in the 2026 season, a milestone he achieved ahead of Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith. LeGree recorded a 90-yard touchdown run and finished with two scores in a 48-30 victory over Washington State, extending his streak of 100-yard games to seven.
His performance lifted the Beavers to a 5-2 record after a slow start, with the team now holding a 24.5 yards-per-catch average and 14 total receiving touchdowns in just seven contests. Coach JaMarcus Shephard has utilized LeGree's production to revitalize the program following the departure of several Pac-12 rivals to other conferences.
The Beavers will look to secure bowl eligibility in their next road game against Fresno State, a team that recently lost its home match to Boise State.
