Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss took full responsibility for a disappointing 34-27 defeat against Texas. The Rebels struggled early, trailing 24-3 by halftime, as Chambliss threw two of his three total interceptions during the opening half.
Despite a stronger performance after the break, the team could not overcome the deficit, leaving their College Football Playoff aspirations in a precarious position. Chambliss finished the night completing 25 of 52 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns.
With running back Kewan Lacy sidelined by an injury, the quarterback emphasized that the team must win every remaining game to stay in contention. The Rebels now look ahead to an upcoming matchup against Auburn followed by a critical home contest versus Georgia.
