NFL Week 7 overreactions: Worst Panthers loss of the season? Ravens to miss playoffs after another blown lead?

The Carolina Panthers suffered a crushing 43-0 defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, marking what is widely considered the most disappointing performance of the current NFL season. Quarterback Bryce Young struggled significantly, throwing two interceptions and enduring five sacks, including one that led to a defensive touchdown by Calijah Kancey.

The Panthers' offensive line allowed 13 total pressures, while the defense surrendered 258 rushing yards and three touchdowns to the Buccaneers. To make matters worse, starting right tackle Taylor Moton left the game with a fractured fibula and is expected to be sidelined indefinitely.

The team also faced failures on special teams, including a muffed punt and a blocked extra point returned for two points. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett provided the team's only run of 15 or more yards during garbage time.
