Micah Parsons calls out NFL over roughing the passer call criticized by Tom Brady

The Detroit Lions edged the Green Bay Packers 20-17 on Sunday, sealing the win with a Jake Bates field goal on the final play at Ford Field. The close contest was part of the NFL’s Week 7 slate and featured several contentious officiating moments.

Tom Brady, serving as a Fox analyst, publicly condemned a rough‑the‑passer penalty during the game, and linebacker Micah Parsons also voiced criticism of the league’s handling of the call. Both veterans joined the growing chorus of players and commentators upset with what they described as soft officiating.
