NBA News: Anthony Edwards to Miss Two Months

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is set to be sidelined for up to two months following an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee. Despite battling persistent knee issues dating back to last season and a previous left knee hyperextension, Edwards recently recorded 47 points in a game before the medical staff opted for this long-term surgical intervention.

The team will now look to players like Ayo Dosunmu, Terrence Shannon Jr., Jaylen Clark, Bones Hyland, LaMelo Ball, and Jaden McDaniels to manage the rotation in his absence. This development follows a period where other Western Conference contenders, specifically the Oklahoma City Thunder, have also dealt with significant injuries to key players like Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace.
