Marotta: ‘Inter learn from mistakes in Champions League, Icardi not part of plans’

Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta has addressed the club's recent struggles in the Champions League, emphasizing that the squad is actively learning from their past errors as they prepare for their upcoming fixture. Regarding roster management, Marotta confirmed that Mauro Icardi is not part of the team's future strategy and stated that the club is not currently seeking to add a fifth striker to their ranks.

Despite a difficult start to the European campaign, which included losses to Real Madrid and Club Brugge alongside a narrow victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, the club remains focused on their domestic goals. Marotta defended the team's overall consistency, noting that their only three Serie A defeats in their last 40 matches have all come against AC Milan, including a 3-1 loss this past Saturday.
