Manchester United’s wild win against Roma showed angry fans we care, says Dalot

Diogo Dalot maintains that Manchester United's dramatic five-goal Champions League victory against Roma can completely alter their difficult campaign and proved to dissatisfied supporters that the squad truly is invested. The dramatic three-to-two comeback followed heavy fan protests directed at the Glazer family prior to kickoff at the stadium, where attendees released thousands of green and gold balloons from the Stretford End, chanted against the owners, and tossed tennis balls onto the turf at the twenty-minute and five-second mark to represent the year 2005.

United entered this fixture sitting on just seven points from their first nine matches in domestic league play, marking the club's poorest opening sequence since the 1987-88 season, though the defender feels this European result successfully demonstrated the players' commitment after the home supporters had jeered them off at the interval.
