Luka Dončić shows how unbeatable Lakers can be in rout of Heat

Luka Dončić delivered another masterclass as the Los Angeles Lakers dominated the Miami Heat in a 138-117 victory, extending their early-season momentum. The Slovenian superstar posted a triple-double with 42 points, 13 assists, and seven rebounds, showcasing his ability to carry the team with relentless scoring and playmaking.

This win marked the Heat’s fifth consecutive loss, dropping them to 2-5 on the season, as their summer blueprint of surrounding a star with complementary talent proved ineffective against Dončić’s offensive firepower. The Lakers, now 5-2, continue their strong start, with Dončić’s 39.6 points per game over his last five outings—including games of 52, 45, and 41—solidifying his early MVP candidacy.
