Luka Dončić explains his 'step forward' on defense after five-steal performance vs. Raptors

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic currently leads the association in scoring and recently added a stellar defensive showcase to his resume during a 131-125 victory against the Toronto Raptors. Doncic finished the contest with forty-five points, fifteen rebounds, and six assists, while also recording five steals and drawing three charges to secure vital extra possessions for his squad.

Speaking after the game, Doncic acknowledged that while he may not be considered the top defender in the league, he believes his ninth professional season has marked a genuine improvement on that end of the floor. His three drawn charges now tie him with several other players for the most in the competition this year, highlighting a significantly higher level of engagement from the perennial offensive powerhouse.
