Will the Broncos’ big win against the Chiefs make them NFL trade deadline buyers?

The Denver Broncos improved to 6-2 and secured the top spot in the AFC West following a 28-2 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. This win marked the 200th career victory for Sean Payton and extended the team's streak of winning one-score games to fifteen.

Bo Nix led the offense during a productive fourth quarter that featured two scoring drives. Rookie Jonah Coleman played a pivotal role in the second half, finishing the contest with 104 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.

Payton credited the team's growth to experiences dating back to a 2025 game against Philadelphia, while Coleman highlighted the impact of the home crowd and his teammates' resilience.
