Liverpool join Barcelona in chase for £17m Premier League breakout teenager

Liverpool and Barcelona are tracking Hull City defender Lucas Herrington following his impressive transition to the Premier League. The 19-year-old Australian international, who previously played for the Colorado Rapids and Brisbane Roar, joined the Tigers in a deal valued at up to £17 million.

Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are also monitoring the teenager, who is currently tied to his club through 2031. Liverpool scouts have tracked the defender since his time in the United States as they look to bolster their long-term defensive options.
