Justin Jefferson's first home TD since 2024 is a doozy

Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson notched his first home touchdown catch since the 2024 season during the opening half of a Week 1 showdown with the Green Bay Packers on September 13, 2026. Jefferson, who went into the matchup ranked fifth among wideouts by Pro Football Network and has recorded double-digit targets across his previous five home meetings against Green Bay, celebrated the scoring reception alongside teammate Jauan Jennings in Minneapolis.

The contest was also marked by an early departure for quarterback Kyler Murray during his first appearance under center for Minnesota. On a third-and-7 scramble from Minnesota's 33-yard line, Murray absorbed contact to his helmet from Packers outside linebacker Lukas Van Ness at the conclusion of the play.

Murray was subsequently removed in the opening quarter, entered the concussion protocol, and was declared unable to return for the remainder of the divisional clash.
