Justin Herbert has gone eight straight starts without multiple TDs

Entering a matchup against the Rams following their bye week, winless Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert attempts to snap an eight-game skid without throwing multiple touchdowns. The dismal stretch places him dangerously close to a dubious franchise benchmark established by former first-round selection Ryan Leaf, who endured a twelve-game drought between 1998 and 2000.

Additionally, Herbert paces the NFL with ten total turnovers through this phase of the season.

Despite these struggles, leadership retains offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel for the time being. However, another poor performance against their stadium-sharing rivals could prompt immediate changes within the organization.
