Justin Barron Barron's transition to the St. Louis Blues has been seamless.
After being waived by the Nashville Predators on September 26, the defenseman has found a new home in the Blues' lineup. He has recorded a goal and four assists in seven games, including a career-high four-point night (one goal, three assists) during a 6-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.
Barron, who earns $1.575 million in the final year of his deal before becoming a restricted free agent, entered the lineup on October 8 against the San Jose Sharks. His strong play has led to the Blues sending 2023 first-round pick Theo Lindstein to the AHL's Springfield team.
Teammate Dylan Holloway, a childhood acquaintance, praised his impact. Barron also credited his family, including brother Morgan Barron, who plays for the Winnipeg Jets, for their support during the move.
