ICC women’s T20I team rankings: Updated table after Australia’s 2-0 win over New Zealand

Australia clinched the three‑match T20I series against New Zealand with a 2‑0 win, the third game being abandoned after rain reduced it to 14 overs and then called off when New Zealand were 11‑2 in the third over. In the opening match, the hosts chased 163, were 102‑2 before collapsing, but recovered to edge out the visitors by two wickets, with Ellyse Perry contributing a rapid 52 off 30 balls.

Ashleigh Gardner delivered a dominant 84‑run knock from 45 deliveries in the second game, helping Australia post 167, while Georgia Wareham added three wickets as New Zealand fell 40 runs short, sealing the series. The series win lifted Australia to 292 rating points, extending their lead over England to 16 points, while New Zealand slipped one point but stayed fourth in the ICC women’s T20I rankings.
