The Panthers welcomed back several players to practice on Thursday, including wide receiver Jalen Coker and right tackle Monroe Freeling. Coker participated in a limited capacity due to a quad issue sustained during the third week of action, while Freeling worked through concussion protocols.
Both athletes await their final status determinations before Sunday evening's matchup against the Lions.
Additional roster developments saw tight end Darren Waller and running back Chuba Hubbard rejoin team activities following a day of rest. Conversely, wide receiver Xavier Legette and guard Damien Lewis remained sidelined due to knee and elbow ailments, respectively.
Meanwhile, defensive tackle Lee Hunter joined the injury report as a limited participant because of a foot concern.
