It’s time for Basketball: San Antonio Spurs vs. Houston Rockets

The San Antonio Spurs are set to face the Houston Rockets on November 7, 2025, at the Frost Bank Center for an Emirates Cup matchup. San Antonio seeks to recover from a season-opening defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder, a game where Victor Wembanyama struggled offensively and Chet Holmgren performed well.

The Spurs' loss was marked by a poor second quarter and weak three-point shooting, though they showed improvement after halftime.

Houston enters the game after a 52-win season last year, which ended in a first-round exit against a Luka Doncic-less Lakers team. The Rockets are currently playing without a point guard, a situation that developed after the departure of Fred VanVleet and the addition of Kevin Durant.

Houston aims to prove they can be a top four contender in the Western Conference.
