3 things to know before the Dallas Mavericks’ home opener against the San Antonio Spurs

The Dallas Mavericks return home with a 1-1 record following a 121-105 victory over the Indiana Pacers, preparing for a matchup against the 0-2 San Antonio Spurs. However, the Mavericks face uncertainty regarding Cooper Flagg, who exited the previous contest due to shoulder soreness prior to halftime after putting up seventeen points, five boards, and six assists in just seventeen minutes under head coach Dusty May.

Meanwhile, the Spurs are looking to rebound from a four-point defeat against the Houston Rockets as both teams navigate the logistical challenges of a back-to-back schedule.
