India and Pakistan could meet for the second time in Super 7s of World Cup 2027

Cricket fans could witness multiple showdowns between arch-rivals India and Pakistan during the upcoming 2027 Men's Cricket World Cup, according to recently released tournament fixture details. The two cricket boards are scheduled to battle during the group stage on October 10 and could clash again on November 7 at Newlands Stadium, as both squads have been placed in the same group and pre-seeded into matching brackets for the Super 7s round.

This particular seeding arrangement ensures the two national teams cannot cross paths during the semi-finals, meaning any potential third meeting would have to happen in the championship match.
