How did Miz do in World Series? Final stats, velocity from Game 1 outing

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski established a new World Series record for the fastest pitch ever recorded. During the first pitch of Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Rays, he threw a fastball reaching 103.5 mph to batter Yandy Diaz.

While Misiorowski led the league in WHIP, ERA, and strikeouts during the regular season, his strikeout numbers have declined during the 2026 postseason. The game took place at American Family Field under the management of Pat Murphy.
