Gophers' '1-0 mindset' will be tested by daunting Big Ten schedule

Minnesota began conference play with a major upset victory at Washington, but a turbulent fourth week across the league has reshaped the difficulty of their remaining eight matchups. Analysts have re-ranked their upcoming schedule, placing a trip to Indiana first and hosting Iowa second, followed by clashes with UCLA, Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn State, Northwestern, and Purdue.

Several programs made significant statements during the recent slate, including Wisconsin defeating Penn State as double-digit underdogs, Iowa shocking Michigan at home, and UCLA dominating Maryland by fifty-one points. Conference coaches like Curt Cignetti, Kirk Ferentz, Bob Chesney, Luke Fickell, and Kyle Wittingham face mounting challenges as their squads navigate the grueling slate.

Notably, upcoming games include Huntington Bank Stadium hosting Iowa, a massive test for UCLA at Oregon, and a high-profile stadium opening in Evanston between Penn State and Northwestern.
