Sergei Pavlovich meets Alex Pereira in UFC 335 heavyweight clash

Alex Pereira is set to transition back to the heavyweight division for a five-round co-main event at UFC 335 against Sergei Pavlovich on December 12. The promotion officially confirmed the matchup during the UFC 332 broadcast after UFC CEO Dana White initially revealed the pairing on a live stream.

Pereira aims to rebound from a second-round TKO defeat against Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250 in June, which temporarily sparked retirement considerations. Meanwhile, Pavlovich enters the upcoming card holding momentum from three consecutive victories following prior defeats to Alexander Volkov and Tom Aspinall.
