Gill goes 233 not out! India chase 406 to crush West Indies and seal series 2-0

India secured an unassailable two-nil lead in their three-match series after successfully hunting down a massive target of 406 against the visiting West Indies squad in Guwahati. Captain Shubman Gill delivered a record-shattering, undefeated knock of 233 runs off 133 deliveries, which featured twenty-six boundaries and eight maximums, alongside a rapid century from opening partner Rohit Sharma.

Earlier in the contest, the West Indies had established a formidable total of 405 for the loss of seven wickets, aided by individual centuries from John Campbell, Shai Hope, and Amir Jangoo, before the hosts completed the highest run chase in their men's one-day international history with ample overs remaining.
