Game Discussion: Washington State opens Pac-12 play against Fresno State

Washington State begins its conference schedule tonight by hosting Fresno State at Martin Stadium. The Cougars enter the matchup following a 34-24 defeat against Arizona, a contest where they initially grabbed a 14-0 advantage behind an opening touchdown and a pick-six by Jack Bal before surrendering the lead.

Fresno State arrives with a 3-1 record after securing a 38-24 victory over Rice last week, fueled by a late 52-yard scoring run from Rayshon Luke to seal the outcome. For tonight's conference opener, Washington State plans to debut its anthracite uniforms featuring a crimson facemask and a white-outlined logo.
