Florida Humbled in Blowout Loss to No. 25 Missouri

Following a significant climb in the AP Poll after defeating Ole Miss, the eighth-ranked Florida squad traveled to face No. 25 Missouri and suffered a stunning 45-17 defeat.

Despite a competitive opening quarter that ended deadlocked at three points apiece, the Tigers pulled away before halftime and dominated the final two periods behind a heavy rushing attack and efficient quarterback play. Florida struggled mightily to establish its offensive rhythm, particularly on the ground where Heisman candidate Jadan Baugh was held to just 13 yards on twelve carries, while the defense had no answer for Missouri's rushing and passing output.
