Houston flips ATH Jason Wooden away from Iowa State

Head coach Willie Fritz and his program secured a significant commitment on Saturday night as three-star recruit Jason Wooden changed his pledge. The in-state standout decided to switch his commitment away from conference rival Iowa State while currently taking an official visit.

While previously committed to play linebacker for the Cyclones, the prospect is being targeted by his new coaches to play wide receiver. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound talent from McKinney Frisco Emerson expressed strong praise for the energy and culture displayed by the coaching staff during his campus stay.
