Falcons may lose DL Da’Shawn Hand for the season

Atlanta experienced a brutal Week 1 outing against Pittsburgh, falling 20-13 while weathering serious health setbacks across the roster. Most significantly, defensive tackle Da'Shawn Hand exited the contest due to a knee injury and is suspected of tearing his quad, an issue that could prematurely end his campaign.

Offensive tackle Chris Lindstrom was also forced out of the matchup after sustaining a concussion, compounding the squad's physical toll along the line of scrimmage.
